Harriet is a musician and creative writer. Harriet has worked extensively in India, the Middle East and Europe using music as a way to create spaces of celebration with marginalised groups and collect stories. She Studied Hindi and History at The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and through her journalism she aims to explore the personal stories which often remain unheard, unknown and unremembered.
Hannah Kirmes-Daly: Founder; Creative Editor; Project Manager Female Role Model
Hannah is a reportage illustrator, working with art to document individual stories and collective narratives. She specialises in using the arts to create spaces for conversations and facilitates people expressing their own stories through illustrations, murals and comic strips. David Suber: Creative Editor and Radio Hakaya Project Manager
David is a journalist and illustrator. His research over the last few years has focused on the socio-political changes in the Middle East and North Africa. Born and raised in Rome, he has specialised his studies in London, Tübingen and Cairo before moving to Tunis to research Europe’s counter-migration policies. Director of the “شهيلي Scirocco” animation, he is currently working on Radio HAKAYA in Lebanon.
Roshan De Stone: Creative Editor and Radio Hakaya Project Manager
Roshan works as a journalist and illustrator with Brush&Bow. For the last 6 years, Roshan has worked with asylum seekers and refugees; both in a legal capacity, and through the arts, creating spaces of cultural celebration through music nights, capoeira classes, art and mural workshops. Her studies at SOAS focused on the MENA region, before she did a masters in Human Rights Law. She currently lives in Lebanon working on Radio HAKAYA.
